Message from the director
This is the first film I made as an animation student.
Because I moved out to a different city, for 10 years I couldn’t visit the playground of my childhood . When I finally did, this place, which used to be near a waste recycling factory built on reclaimed land, had become a nice public park. However I couldn’t help but feel sad at the change and resigned myself to a “That’s life!”. I decided to make a story out of this sensation. At that time, I saw the French film “Children of Paradise”. The instant I saw the character of Baptiste fall in love with the statue of a woman, my story was complete.
