“I am revisiting places filled with the memory of animal friends, human lovers and dead idols. And as usual, I am seeing romance where there is none”.

French filmmaker Denis Cordier is having strange dreams… His double seems to be living another life in a faraway land of the Far East. A case of split personality? Repressed memories or fragments of his imagination? Maybe the life he’s always been dreaming of living? Mixing fiction, documentary and fantasy, this series of reveries introduces the viewer to a very personal vision on a 21st century metropolis and people inhabiting it.

Denis Cordier
Born in Paris, Denis Cordier studied filmmaking in Los Angeles before continuing his career in film production in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Based in Tokyo since 2001, he works as a coordinator for film projects between Japan and Europe, while developing his own as a writer/director. He considers Italian cinema to be the best in the world and is ready to debate anyone contesting this irrefutable fact.
