Message from the director

Sometimes people express their irritation about trifling matters by clicking their tongue. This odd habit can be quite contagious.　This film depicts this idea by using the image of a tongue-clicking bird.

Message from the director

This is the first film I made as an animation student.
Because I moved out to a different city, for 10 years I couldn't visit the playground of my childhood . When I finally did, this place, which used to be near a waste recycling factory built on reclaimed land, had become a nice public park. However I couldn't help but feel sad at the change and resigned myself to a "That's life!". I decided to make a story out of this sensation. At that time, I saw the French film "Children of Paradise". The instant I saw the character of Baptiste fall in love with the statue of a woman, my story was complete.

Message from the director
This work is very different from my previous experimental animations. My aim here is to entertain and make an animated series everyone can enjoy. I tried to tell a simple story using the look of picture books for children. However simple the final look, it took me a longer time than expected. I hope everyone enjoy the series!
